What Peat Panels™ Is

By applying various processing techniques to the raw peat, we were able to create various designs and textures. To make it more practical for installation, we decided to apply the unique peat designs onto plywood boards. Our standard panel formats currently available are 60.96 x 121.92 cm (2’ x 4’) and 50 x 50 cm (19.68” x 19.68”). The plywood boards are 16 mm (0.63" or 5/8") thick. The overall panel thickness will vary depending on the design of peat applied on top of it.

We also provide size and design customization of our boards as per customer’s request.

Our Peat Panels™ series includes the following six brands: Natural Raw Peat Panel™, Natural Smooth Peat Panel™, Vintage Peat Panel™, Bevelled Tiles Peat Panel™, Fractions Peat Panel™ and Peat Plastered Panel™.

Natural Raw Peat Panel™

Rough & rustic looking, these panels expose a blend of carved pieces of natural peat. Due to the carving techniques, the limits between the peat pieces or between assembled panels are not noticeable as the design intent is to provide a “continuous look” format.

Natural Smooth Peat Panel™

The Natural Smooth Peat Panel™ are similar in look with the Natural Raw Peat Panel™ as far as the color goes (no resin infusion), however they have a smooth texture which gives them a more sophisticated look.

Vintage Peat Panel™

Provided in darker tones of brown, these panels feature our new technology of “epoxy injection”, where the raw peat is injected with epoxy, resulting in a much more resistant product and a harder peat surface.

Bevelled Tiles Peat Panel™

Using our technology of “epoxy injection”, these panels feature beveled vintage peat tiles in a classy, warm and clean look.

Blending peat particles with epoxy, these panels feature a fascinating look as their nuances and shades change with the intensity and angle of the light.

Peat Plastered Panel™

Peat Plastered Panels™ is a premium line of products comprised of plywood boards covered with our Peat Plaster™. Since applying the Peat Plaster™ requires hiring a skilled professional, we developed a product already covered with Peat Plaster™ that can be very easily applied to walls and ceilings without the need of special skills.

We apply the Peat Plaster™ paste on the plywood boards either by means of spraying, which creates a more uniform look, or manually with a scrapper, which creates a more rustic, uneven look. We currently use five different techniques of applying the Peat Plaster™ on the plywood boards, which results in five unique-looking designs or textures. Each panel is a unique piece of art.
